This week, we’re supporting Mental Health Awareness Week and the 2024 theme: movement.
Yes, you heard that right! Movement doesn’t just mean sweating it out at the gym and chasing PRs. A walk in the park or taking the stairs instead of the elevator at work is enough.
Scientific studies have shown that physical fitness can be a real GAME CHANGER for our mental and emotional well-being. It helps us reduce stress and clear our heads.
So lace up your shoes, get outside, and let’s talk about mental health together this month.
Four ways to get more movement during Mental Health Awareness Week:
- Geocaching adventure:
Movement and treasure hunting in one? That’s exactly what Geocaching offers! With a special app or GPS device, you can search for small, hidden containers (“geocaches”). The coordinates lead you to new places, you have to solve puzzles, and at the end there might even be a small treasure waiting for you. Enjoy the fresh air, discover your surroundings in a new way and stay active. - Find your new favorite activity:
Feeling overwhelmed and don’t know where to start? The Tough Mudder community is not for nothing so big and unique: with us, it’s all about teamwork and togetherness – and that’s what makes us who we are! No Mudder is ever left behind.
Not to be forgotten is of course the Tough Mudder course itself: it is our ultimate form of self-care and leaves you stronger, more courageous and fulfilled in the end.

Your best friend is sure to enjoy more exercise in the fresh air! Dog jogging is a great way to get active with your dog. Adapted to the condition of your four-legged friend, you go jogging, walking or hiking with him/her. - Tell your story:
Got something to get off your chest? Then tell us your story! Why is movement and activity so important to you this month? May is all about you. Maybe you’re just the inspiration someone else needs to get started.
