At the end of 24 grueling hours of competition, the 2014 World’s Toughest Mudder champion’s podium supported some familiar mud-encrusted soles.
In a field of 1,200 of the world’s fiercest extreme adventure athletes, six champions: one man, one woman and four teammates, respectively covered the most miles of obstacle-riddled Vegas desert terrain in 24 hours to claim the title of World’s Toughest Mudder 2014.
Let’s meet this year’s champions.

*2013 World’s Toughest Mudder Men’s/Overall Champion
"I wanted to say thank you for everyone who cheered me on out there, it was truly non stop. Also a huge congrats to everyone who braved the conditions out there. You are all amazing and inspiring. Congrats to all. I'm proud and to be part of this community, and I'm humbled by everyone out there."
WOMEN’S CHAMPION - Amelia Boone
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
Miles covered: 75
*2012 World’s Toughest Mudder Women’s Champion
"It's funny...while WTM is technically "a race," I still feel like we were one giant team of 1200 people out there. The teamwork, the kindness, the offers of hands to get up walls, help with bucket measurements, or a nice pat on the back (ass) were never-ending. I have never been so impressed by the kinds and camaraderie of a group of people as I am with the WTM community."
TEAM CHAMPION - Wolf Pack Spartan
Members: Mark Jones, Dennis Welch, Hunter McIntyre, Miguel Medina
Miles covered: 76
"This is by FAR the world's toughest event. And we are the world's toughest team." (Hunter McIntyre)
